The Engineering Manager will lead a team of engineers and technical staff in the development, improvement, and maintenance of manufacturing processes and equipment. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from concept to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency, as well as meeting cost targets. The Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with production, quality, maintenance, and other departments to drive innovation, optimize production processes, and support company growth objectives. Job Responsibilities:
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); Master’s degree or MBA is a plus. - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment. - Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role within an engineering department. - Bilingual (English & Spanish)
Strong background in process improvement and project management. - Proficiency in CAD software, ERP systems, and project management tools. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. - Familiarity with safety standards and industrial regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO, etc.). - Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Possess high professional ethics, good judgment, and ability to make timely decisions. - Availability for travel: Visa required. Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
