As a Senior Engineer - Data Analyst and Automation Engineer at Eaton, your primary responsibility will include:
Working with internal and external customers to gather and prioritize their needs, and translating them into actionable requirements. - Communicating insights to stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. - Defining the end-to-end automation and solution architecture, including components, functionalities, and interactions. - Selecting appropriate programming languages, tools, and frameworks based on factors like scalability, performance, and security. - Establishing coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable and efficient code. - Organizing and assembling information from diverse data sources for easily replicable and maintainable data aggregation. - Proficiently identifying and applying appropriate data analytics algorithms to come up with recommendations based on generated insights. - Reporting results through various dashboards measuring against targets, historical data trends, and data snapshots to support end customers' data requirements. - Strategizing new uses for data and its interaction with data design. - Managing multiple projects and delivering results on time and with requisite quality. - Striving for internal and external recognition in the area by continuously learning and developing project management standard works and dashboard reporting. - Having knowledge of Engineering and Program Management data sets, including SAP or Oracle datasets, which will be recommended. Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering with 6-9 years of experience. - Strong understanding of organizational processes. Skills:
