In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Managing the complete Project Life Cycle from inputs analysis, Design & Engineering, model development, report generation, Testing & Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) to commissioning for PPC/MPPC control as required. - Developing Execution, Modeling & Simulation for PSCAD Version greater than 5, IVF compiler 15 and above, PSSE Ver. 34,35, Digsilent Power factory modeling independently. - Providing adequate inputs and reviewing models, ability to read electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs). - Conducting process testing, tuning of Solar/BESS/Hybrid plants PPC controls, and adhering to industrial standards like IEEE, IEC, NEC, NERC MOD-026-01,02 & NERC MOD-027 and Grid codes. - Collecting and reviewing project inputs from customers/sites through various methods and conducting feasibility studies for customer connections to utility networks/Plants. - Developing Generic and User-defined models for PSS/E, Digsilent, and PSCAD PPC models for Ovation system developed PPC control. - Leading Ovation controls PPC design and testing for Solar/BESS/Hybrid projects, guiding the team in implementation and modifications of control PPC Logics/SCADA. - Engaging in customer demos, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities. - Collaborating with Ovation Green product team and working on MATLAB, PPC, JavaScript. - Commissioning and testing Solar/BESS/Wind/Hybrid plants along with Grid authority for commercial operation and model approval. Travelling to project sites for assignments, testing, and tuning of electrical control functions. Who you are:

For this role, you will need:
Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Power Engineering, EEE). - Eight (8) to Fifteen (15) years of experience in Design and engineering of PSCAD, PSSE, Power factory (Digsilent) Electrical Modelling of PPC/MPPC/EMS. - Ability to design and test PPC/MPPC controls for RE projects. - Excellent language and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to travel 20 to 30% as per job requirements. - Ability to present information effectively and interface with vendors & sub-contractors. - Good understanding of safety tools, gears, and guidelines for working at a site. Preferred qualifications that set you apart:
Good knowledge of Grid Compliance Guidelines for various regions. - Knowledge of electrical equipment like switchboards, generators, turbines, AVRs, motors, transformers, etc. - Proficiency in Fortran/C programming, MATLAB, SQL. - Experience in executing projects independently and testing with Grid Authority.
