As a Creative Director specializing in events, advertising, and content in Mumbai, your role will involve leading the ideation and execution of high-impact campaigns for movie marketing and OTT platform shows. You will be expected to be a visionary thinker with a strong foundation in storytelling, experiential marketing, and short-form content creation. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing creative strategies and ideating 360 campaigns for theatrical releases, OTT launches, and brand collaborations. - Conceptualizing unique event ideas that generate conversations and buzz within the industry. - Creating short-format video content concepts that stand out and engage the target audience effectively. - Interpreting client briefs and translating them into bold and strategic creative concepts. - Leading the scripting, visual direction, and creative packaging of content across various platforms. - Curating disruptive and experiential events aligned with campaign narratives, ensuring high-fidelity execution. - Overseeing internal design, copy, and film teams, while also managing external creative vendors and agencies. - Mentoring junior creatives and freelancers to encourage innovation and ownership within the team. In order to excel in this role, you should possess:
8+ years of experience in creative direction within the events, advertising, films, or entertainment industry. - A strong portfolio showcasing work in film/OTT campaigns, immersive events, and short video formats. - Deep familiarity with Mumbai's entertainment and influencer ecosystems. - Outstanding storytelling abilities, design sensibility, and pitch skills. - Comfort working in fast-paced and unstructured environments with high creative demands. Bonus points if you have experience:
Working on theatrical/OTT show marketing campaigns in India. - Creating original branded content IPs or viral campaigns. - Dealing with interactive formats like AR/VR installations or on-ground gamification. - Having a hybrid experience on both agency-side and client-side.
