As an Associate Staff Engineer at Nagarro, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining automation scripts and frameworks for mobile, web, and API testing. Your role will involve analyzing application workflows, ensuring adequate test coverage, and validating data and system behavior across services and environments. You will also be expected to perform debugging, log analysis, and issue troubleshooting, as well as collaborate with development and DevOps teams to resolve defects. Additionally, you will play a key role in improving automation frameworks for maintainability and scalability. Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Total experience of 5+ years in Test Automation and QA Engineering
Must-have skills include Appium, Python (Strong), and TestNG
Strong hands-on coding experience in Python, Java, or JavaScript
Good understanding of application workflows, modules, and web services
Experience with databases or messaging systems such as SQL/NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, or similar
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix commands for troubleshooting and log analysis
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Experience with API/UI automation tools such as RestAssured, Python Requests, Playwright, or Cypress
