As a Legal Intern at WRI India, you will have the opportunity to support the in-house legal team with routine documentation and compliance-related work. Your main responsibilities will include maintaining and organizing legal records, supporting the review and tracking of agreements, and ensuring that relevant documentation is properly filed and updated. **Key Responsibilities:**
Maintain accurate and updated legal documentation and trackers. - Support review and tracking of agreements and contracts. - Ensure proper filing and organization of legal records. - Assist in maintaining compliance with organizational and audit requirements. **Qualifications Required:**
34 years of LL.B./B.A. LL.B. - Strong research, writing, and MS Office/Google Workspace skills. - Comfort with redlining tools (Word track changes) and basic Excel. - Attention to detail, deadline orientation, and confidentiality. You will work closely with the in-house legal team to support ongoing legal and compliance activities. This includes assisting in maintaining and updating organizational trackers for MoUs, NDAs, and grant-related documents, organizing, filing, and maintaining records of agreements and related documentation for the financial year, reviewing basic contractual documents, ensuring documentation is complete and properly recorded, maintaining documents and records in accordance with organizational compliance and audit requirements, and providing general support to the legal team as required. The duration of this role is 2 months with a possibility of extension, based in New Delhi. Full-time commitment is preferred, reporting to the In-House Legal Counsel.
