The Position Senior Release Train Engineer (RTE): AlgoSuite Platform Engineering Description: As a Senior Software Delivery Manager you will be responsible to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions or products of high complexity. This senior-level position involves advanced leadership in agile processes, technical project activities, and strategic improvement initiatives. Additionally, it includes influencing and harmonizing across teams and projects within your organization. Main tasks and duties: Lead and mentor the agile team to foster a positive spirit and collaboration. Closely collaborate and align with the key engineering roles working together in the product or solution. Act as the primary engineering leader for product delivery with IBL or Product Manager and Program Leader. Provide leadership in sprint planning, task estimation, and retrospectives. Organize and facilitate sprint presentations and retrospective meetings. Continuously evaluate and refine agile processes and ways of working. Ensure best practices for engineering are implemented and followed. Contribute with new and improved ways of visualizing project metrics, harmonize across projects. Oversee the configuration and management of quality and vulnerability tools. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and QMS. Identify and implement opportunities for reusing software modules/components. Define, review, and adapt team structures for optimal performance. Influence and harmonize best practices and processes across multiple teams and projects. Lead support for system tests and the overall product delivery process. Drive continuous improvement of agile and engineering processes with a constant eye on harmonization and alignment. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to ensure project success. Develop and deliver regular status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments. Project Management: Management of time, resources, and budget within a project to ensure successful delivery. Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering/Computer Science/IT, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of experience working in software development field 5+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Enterprise Agile Coach, or a Senior Scrum Master managing multiple cross-functional Scrum teams (typically 3+ teams simultaneously) SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification (Highly Recommended, as "RTE" is a specific SAFe role) Led at least 5+ successful Program Increments (PIs) with 5+ teams. Servant Leadership & Facilitation: Exceptional skills in leading PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt (I&A) workshops, and Scrum of Scrums.
