Materials Clerk

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Receive, inspect, and document incoming shipments of parts, materials, and equipment. - Prepare, package, and ship outgoing orders in accordance with company standards. - Maintain accurate inventory records using the company’s ERP/MRP system. - Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories. - Monitor stock levels and initiate purchasing requests to replenish inventory. - Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse/storage area. - Assist with light assembly work during peak production periods. - Stage materials and parts for the production team as needed. Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations (manufacturing environment preferred). - Proficiency with basic computer applications; experience with ERP/MRP software a plus. - Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift certification preferred). - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. - Comfortable working in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required. - Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain). - Experience with purchasing and vendor coordination preferred. Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay: $17.50 per hour plus, depending on experience. - Shift: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
