Senior Manager, Software Development

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a cross-functional team of backend, frontend, full-stack, and mobile engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and technical excellence. - Develop scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems to serve millions of daily users globally. - Coordinate the full software lifecycle, from concept and development to implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing site reliability. - Provide technical direction by demonstrating proficiency in backend technologies (Java, Python, Node.js), microservices, APIs, and modern web and mobile frameworks. - Advocate for code quality, observability, performance, and security throughout the development and release process. - Collaborate closely with product management, compose, payments, and platform teams to align technology strategies with business objectives. - Drive operational excellence through CI/CD pipelines, production readiness assessments, and high service uptime. - Mentor engineers and engineering managers, offering guidance on career development, technical growth, and cross-team collaboration. Qualifications Required:

• 12+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or Scala, crafting large-scale systems in cloud-based environments. - Leadership experience with a minimum of 5 years in engineering management, leading teams across backend, frontend, and mobile subject areas. - Domain expertise in Payments, Financial Services, or transaction-heavy systems preferred. - Proficiency in Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and project management within complex product ecosystems. - Strong communication, decision-making, and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and enabling others to reach their full potential. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
