Key Responsibilities:
Manage end to end Screening Utility risk function, including handling screening risks and issues from opening to closure/validation. - Timely resolution of control weaknesses, internal audit points, FCR Assurance findings, and MSIIs. - Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in FCC, FCR, internal audit, and other business functions. - Ensure operational risk is managed consistently across screening ops and meet minimum standards of internal control. - Report on the adequacy of the internal control environment and compliance with regulatory and Group requirements. - Provide expertise in risk management within screening ops, offering advice and guidance on an effective internal control environment. - Drive the design, analysis, and remediation of control measures, as well as the application of policies and procedures. - Manage the end to end Control framework, Issues, and Actions for Screening Utility. - Conduct deep dive reviews on the risk and control environment. - Drive Risk culture across Screening Utility and coordinate various audits. - Ensure projects under Non-Financial Risks Optimization are completed within Screening utility as per timelines. - Offer consultancy, advice, and guidance to stakeholders to ensure new developments have the required controls. Qualification Required:
Good working knowledge of Risk functional area in an operational or consulting capacity. - Knowledge of financial crime compliance, operational risk, and controls. - Understanding of Screening with process understanding of Name and Payments Screening. - Sound knowledge and interpretation ability of FIM policies. - Exceptional analytical capability to understand downstream risk impacts of changes. - Strong relationship management and influencing skills with experience in interactions with senior management. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to organize and prioritize risk and controls related activities effectively. - Lateral thinker with the ability to interpret and solve complex issues. - Strong awareness of regulatory, business, and operational risk. - Ability to lead change within Risk and collaborate with other teams globally.
