As an Analyst in Legal Entity Controllership (LEC) at TIAA Global Capabilities, your role involves various responsibilities including Month end Head Office Reporting, Regulatory Reporting as per US GAAP, Daily General Ledger Control Checks, Reference Data maintenance, Management Information Reporting & Analysis, Inter Entity reconciliation, and GL balance substantiation & reconciliation. **Key Responsibilities and Duties:**
Raising Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices through the billing platform
Interacting with fund managers for details required for the creation of AR billing invoices and getting them finalized and approved
Posting journal entries in the accounting platform
Ensuring debtors collection
Performing assigned management reporting tasks
Coordinating with various teams to ensure timely billing of AR accruals
Handling audit requests
Updating desktop procedures (SOP) as required with current changes
Analyzing current AR billing processes and identifying process improvement opportunities
Working on automation of activities/work streamlining of processes
Assisting in testing and implementing new initiatives for process/workflow improvements
Performing month-end tasks related to assigned activities
Ensuring accuracy in performing the assigned work
Performing controls in compliance with internal and external audits
Conducting ad hoc analysis, working on special projects, and being a subject matter expert
Contributing to decisions and projects of diverse scope
Executing business units' operational controls and audit routines in compliance with internal and external audits
Performing month-end and period-end assigned tasks by due date
**Qualifications Required:**
Bachelor's degree in Commerce
Good accounting knowledge
Good communication skills
Stakeholder management
Openness to embrace Artificial intelligence initiatives of the organization and exploring opportunities to automate work
**Preferred Skills/Experience:**
2-3 years of AR billing experience
Experience in accounting platforms such as Oracle and CODA, and billing platform like Advantage fee portal
