Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Producer to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ. In this role, you will be placed in various departments to assist in those particular activities and duties in order to gain technical knowledge and learn processes and procedures of Brown & Brown. You will also be given various training and educational opportunities during the training program. The overall objective is to be prepared to move into a sales position as a Producer at the conclusion of the training program. How You Will Contribute: Attend all sales meetings, at the office and off-site Assist Brown & Brown teammates with assigned duties as learning experiences. Become familiar with the Agency Management System. Become familiar with Brown & Brown office procedures. Successfully complete all educational courses or professional designation courses as may be required by the training program. Be accountable to the department manager for attendance and work performance. Develop relationships with insurance company underwriters. Attend insurance company sponsored events as directed by manager. Participate in new business prospecting ("cold calling") exercises. Develop knowledge of the "marketing" process. Successfully complete "Brown & Brown University".
