As a seasoned and strategic Vice President of Corporate Communications in India for a leading global enterprise, your role will involve spearheading internal and external communication efforts across the region. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with both global and regional leadership to shape and deliver communication strategies that align with business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and strengthen the organization's brand reputation in India. Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing integrated communication strategies and campaigns aligned with business objectives. - Acting as the editor-in-chief for India communications, overseeing leadership messages, employee updates, digital content, and firmwide communications. - Designing and managing a robust multi-channel content strategy, including social media, newsletters, and internal platforms, supported by performance analytics. - Leading communications for key organizational changes such as restructures, leadership transitions, and new strategic directions. - Serving as the primary spokesperson in India, managing relationships with external agencies, and leading crisis communication and reputational risk management. - Building trusted relationships with business and functional leaders to support localized communication strategies and ensuring alignment with the global communications team. Qualifications & Experience required:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline. - 15-18 years of progressive experience in corporate communications, ideally within global and matrixed organizations. - Proven ability to lead communication strategy at scale and manage complex stakeholder environments. - Deep understanding of India's cultural and business landscape, with experience tailoring messaging for diverse audiences. - Strong executive communication skills, with experience in multi-channel communication, crisis response, and media relations.
