As the Senior Business Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading the business finance function for a business division. Your main responsibilities will include:
**Business Finance Partnership:**
Serve as the primary finance business partner to the Divisional Head and leadership team. - Translate business strategy into financial plans, targets, and KPIs for the division. - Provide actionable insights on pricing, product mix, margins, and commercial investments to optimize profitability. - Support evaluation of new business opportunities through business cases, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis. - Collaborate with sales, marketing, supply chain, operations, and commercial excellence teams to align financial strategies with business objectives. - Develop and maintain advanced financial models, dashboards, and scorecards for product lines, channels, and key customers within the business division. - Act as a finance challenger to ensure sound business decisions, risk mitigation, and disciplined capital allocation. - **Financial Planning & Analysis:**
Lead the end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycle for the business division. - Consolidate and analyze divisional financial performance to identify trends and improvement areas. - Prepare and present monthly and quarterly performance reviews to senior management. - Drive standardization and automation of planning and analysis in collaboration with corporate technology and controlling teams. - Ensure robust financial controls, policies, and procedures are in place and adhered to within the business division. - Identify and implement process improvements across planning, reporting, and decision-support processes. - Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal guidelines, and regulatory requirements. - **Qualifications & Experience:**
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA (Finance) from a premier BSchool mandatory. - Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field (preferred). - CFA, IFRS qualifications are an advantage. - Minimum 9+ years of experience in business finance, financial planning, and analysis roles. - Proven experience in finance business partnering with commercial and operational teams. - Strong exposure to R2R processes and hands-on experience in SAP-based financial environments. - Prior experience in the medical equipment or vision care industry is highly preferred. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. - Advanced proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g., Excel, ERP). - Ability to thrive under pressure, high level of ownership, resilience, and ability to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
