As a Senior Manager in the Risk Advisory team at PwC, you will play a crucial role in providing independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls, and other assurable information to enhance credibility and reliability for stakeholders. You will evaluate compliance with regulations, assess governance and risk management processes, and related controls. Key Responsibilities:
Possess a strong understanding of privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, Draft India Data Protection Bill, and privacy frameworks
Implement and/or support Data Protection technologies
Lead at least 3 end-to-end privacy assessment & implementation projects including GDPR, PDP, and other country-specific regulations
Interview client stakeholders and develop project artifacts like Privacy Impact analysis, data flow diagrams, and identify gaps
Conduct Privacy impact assessments, data discovery, data classification, and develop data flow maps
Implement privacy enhancing technologies and design data privacy framework
Deploy data protection solutions such as eDiscovery tools, Data Classification solutions, Data Leakage Prevention solutions to ensure privacy policies are correctly implemented
Utilize knowledge of data anonymization, pseudonymization, and encryption technical controls to enhance privacy protections
Experience in Database protection and hands-on knowledge in associated technologies
Design privacy enhancements to develop technical solutions and systems to mitigate privacy risks
Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate proposals and viewpoints at senior management levels
Qualifications Required:
Minimum Qualification: BE/ BTech
Post Graduates in any stream would be preferred (not mandatory)
Prior Big 4 experience would be an added advantage
Experience in Data Privacy for varied industry segments preferred
Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
