**Role Overview:**
As an experienced Infrastructure Architect at Semtech, you will be responsible for designing and evolving scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure across multiple regions and cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your role will involve leading infrastructure-as-code initiatives, implementing disaster recovery strategies, driving cloud cost optimization, and establishing security baselines and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, establish monitoring and incident response practices, manage Kubernetes clusters, provide technical leadership, and design network and security infrastructure. **Key Responsibilities:**
Design and evolve scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure spanning multiple regions and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Lead infrastructure-as-code (IaC) initiatives using CloudFormation, Terraform, and other tooling
Architect disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience strategies
Drive cloud cost optimization initiatives and implement security baselines and compliance requirements
Design and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms
Establish monitoring, logging, metrics, and tracing infrastructure using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch
Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters in production environments; optimize resource utilization and cost
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level DevOps engineers; collaborate with cross-functional teams
Design and implement cloud networking architecture including VPC, subnets, routing, and security group policies
**Qualifications Required:**
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
15+ years of overall experience in software engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure operations
5-10+ years of hands-on DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or platform engineering experience
Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages
Expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools, Kubernetes, Linux/Unix system administration, networking, and security fundamentals
