Role Overview Located in Adelaide's Outer Harbor and reporting directly to the Marine Services Team Leader you will work as part of a team to provide marine services to vessels and meet maintenance requirements. Key Responsibilities Mooring of vessels; Berth preparation; Wharf and jetty maintenance; Civil works and general earthworks maintenance activities; Gardening duties of areas involving the maintenance of cutting, weeding, hand spraying and fertilising; Operating small plant and mechanical equipment including forklifts; Navigational aid maintenance; and Trade related activities. About you Your skills and experience will include - Trade qualifications in either building, carpentry, mechanical, welding / fabrication, maintenance fitter; Administrative experience and strong computer literacy; Ability and experience working both independently and in teams; High level of attention to detail and the ability to problem solve; Experience working in a multi skilled environment; Experience in writing JSEA's and risk assessments; and Current Drivers Licence. Desirable Master V Certificate of Competency; Marine Engine Driver grade 2 (MED2); An applicant holding an unrestricted Coxswains Certificate; Pilot transfer and launch maintenance operations (Deckhand); and Demonstrated experience in a leadership / supervisor role.
