As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at our client, India's leading algorithmic trading firm in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining top-tier professionals in the fields of quantitative research, trading, and technology. Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy: You will be developing and executing hiring plans for specialized roles like Quant Researchers, Algo Traders, and Software Engineers. - Sourcing: Utilize advanced techniques on platforms such as LinkedIn, Job portals, and niche platforms to identify and engage with top talent. - Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial interviews, evaluate technical and cultural fit, and coordinate assessments for potential candidates. - Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to ensure alignment of recruitment strategies with the organization's business objectives. - Employer Branding: Promote the firm's culture and values through various channels like social media, events, and networking to attract potential candidates. - Data-Driven Hiring: Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to enhance and streamline the recruitment processes. Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or a related field. - 3-6 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably within a Prop Trading firm. - Strong understanding of algorithmic trading, quantitative finance, or technology roles. - Expertise in sourcing passive candidates and building talent pipelines. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics. In addition to the above qualifications, preferred skills for this role include:
Knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies. - Experience in hiring for niche roles within quantitative research and software development. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
