As a Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer at our client's company, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting network infrastructure in production environments. Your proactive approach and strong incident management skills will be essential in ensuring network stability and reliability in a fast-paced 24x7 operational environment. Handling real-time incidents, maintaining uptime, and contributing to seamless network operations will make this role an exciting opportunity for individuals who excel in high-impact, mission-critical settings. Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on troubleshooting of network issues in production environments. - Resolve real user-impacting incidents and clearly articulate the incident triage approach. - Utilize network management tools and logs for troubleshooting while maintaining clear and concise documentation. - Take ownership of network-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution or proper escalation. - Monitor and manage network infrastructure, including switching, wireless, NAC, and firewalls. - Provide operational support in a 24x7 environment, managing ticket queues, alert triage, and escalation workflows. - Participate in on-call rotations and support NOC operations during off-hours. Required Skills:
Strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in production environments. - Experience with network infrastructure: Switching & Wireless (Aruba preferred), NAC solutions (Aruba ClearPass preferred), Firewalls (Palo Alto preferred). - Solid understanding of incident management, triage processes, and troubleshooting tools/logs. - Experience working in 24x7 support environments or on-call rotations. - Strong communication skills with the ability to document issues clearly and understand escalation protocols. Nice-to-Have Skills:
Familiarity with Cisco ISE (for NAC solutions). - Experience with Fortinet firewalls. - Background in NOC or Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools and alert triage systems.
