Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify software & cloud solutions that align with the organization's IT requirements and strategic objectives. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to understand software needs, gather requirements, and define procurement strategies. - Source potential software vendors, manage the request for proposal (RFP) process, and evaluate vendor proposals based on factors such as functionality, pricing, support, and contractual terms. - Negotiate favorable licensing agreements, pricing, and contract terms with software vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. - Manage vendor relationships, including contract management, performance evaluations, and ongoing communication to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. - Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize software contracts, ensuring appropriate rights, obligations, and data protection measures are included. - Stay informed about emerging software trends, new technologies, and industry best practices to provide recommendations for software procurement and IT strategy. Qualification Required:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT procurement, software sourcing, cloud management, and vendor management. - Strong knowledge of software licensing models, contract negotiation, and procurement processes. - Familiarity with a wide range of software solutions, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), Dealer management solution (DMS), productivity tools, and infrastructure software. - Excellent negotiation skills, knowledge of legal and compliance requirements related to software contracts, licensing, and data protection. - Professional certifications related to IT procurement or software licensing (e.g., Certified Software Asset Manager - CSAM) are a plus.
