As a Finance Analytics Engineer at Swiss Re in Bangalore, you will be part of the newly established Financial Data Analytics team within Corporate Solutions' Global FP&A and Reporting department. Your role involves driving high-quality analytics & insights by utilizing your technical and analytical skills while collaborating with stakeholders to support Finance and the entire Business Unit. You will work under the guidance of senior team members to build a strong foundation between Underwriting, Risk Management, and Re Insurance analytics. Your responsibilities will include:
Extracting data from various systems and structuring them into analytic reports
Performing reconciliations to ensure accurate quarterly reporting
Preparing management reports and performance analysis
Building and maintaining high-quality analytical solutions
Designing process improvement solutions
Developing forward-looking views for strategic insights
Driving new business cases for the analytics hub
Supporting the development of key finance analytical products
To qualify for this position, you should have:
A university degree in a quantitative discipline
Good knowledge of Insurance/Reinsurance business
4-7 years of relevant working experience
Proficiency in MS Excel, VBA, Power Automate
Strong experience in process improvement design and execution
Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and data logics management
Skills in Python, SQL, SparkSql, PySpark
Experience in Reporting and Visualization Tools like PowerBI, Tableau
Understanding of DB design and Data warehousing Concepts
