What You'll Do: Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials (concrete, soil density, and asphalt density) on construction sites Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties What You'll Bring: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A two-year college degree or greater in the civil engineering field is preferred 4-6 years of experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are preferred and/or must be obtained Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs. periodically Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance Salary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 Benefits: Flexible Work Environment Paid Parental Leave Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off + Holidays Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
