In this role at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will be managing the day-to-day data analyst and stewardship team, including escalations to the US Home office. Your primary responsibility will be handling Product Master analyst and stewardship inquiries, data investigations, and system upgrades to support issue management for Product Master. You will need to understand the business processes supported by the Product Data, along with the Customer Master, RDM, and Quality data. It will be crucial for you to actively follow up on the resolution of data issues with appropriate timelines and provide proactive and clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will also assist users with troubleshooting, data assistance, and appropriately raise and escalate issues and/or risk mitigation/management while challenging assumptions. Additionally, you will assist in basic data inquiries, generate critical metrics on Data changes, and establish roadmaps for future enhancements/upgrades in partnership with technical support teams. You will also participate in Mission/Business critical Incident resolution activities specific to data changes and collaborate with various teams and business functions as needed. Qualifications & Experience:
A 4-year bachelors degree in Business or Computer Science, MIS, or a related field is required; an MS or related advanced degree is a plus
You should have 10 years of Information Technology experience in master data or data management
Skills and hands-on experience in SQLs, PL/SQL, etc., and comfortable working in databases like Oracle, Postgres, etc., are required
Experience with Master Data management tools like STIBO, Reltio, Informatica, etc., is a plus
You should be able to operate independently within the guidelines of the overall position and objectives
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, commitment to process quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence is essential
Good understanding of Data Management principles, Cloud Services Platforms, Data Access Layers, and Cloud-based integrations
Proven experience leading a team of stewards or analysts in the data management area
Proven experience with resolution management, including communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
5 years of Project and/or support experience
Exceptional customer interaction and communication skills, including interaction with functional business leads
