Senior Software Engineer - Messaging Infrastructure

As an engineer in the Data Products team at Hotstar, you will play a crucial role in building products that leverage data to address business and engineering use-cases for the company. Your primary focus will be on constructing a pub-sub infrastructure capable of supporting over 20 million concurrent clients. This involves working with protocols like MQTT and WebSockets, technologies including Apache Kafka and Apache Spark, as well as databases like Cassandra and Redshift to create a scalable and real-time pub-sub system. Key Responsibilities

Build a low-latency distributed pub-sub infrastructure capable of handling more than 20 million concurrent clients. Develop tools and platforms to enable engineers to efficiently build pub-sub applications. Create MQTT bridges and plugins to establish connections between the pub-sub infrastructure and Hotstar's existing systems. Design and implement monitoring tools for performance tracking and anomaly detection at scale. Key Responsibilities
