Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of securities and front to back trade lifecycle experience. - Implement procedures to mitigate operational risk and escalate issues appropriately. - Handle trade amendments and booking reversals of trades. - Serve as a liaison between Front Office and all supporting functions. - Collaborate with clients, sales, and trading to ensure timely trade allocation, confirmation, and processing. - Support front office equities trading desks and work closely with technical teams to enhance trader experience. - Maintain zero tolerance controls and adhere to strict deadlines. - Build strong relationships within the team, Front Office trading, and management. - Appreciate and value straight-through processing (STP) and IT solutions for improved processing and controls. - Multitask effectively, be flexible in task management, and handle varying levels of volume and complexity without compromising task quality. - Act as a point of contact for internal middle/back-office enquiries and foster direct relationships with colleagues. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the globe in Front, Back, and Middle Office. - Establish a strong working relationship with local management. Qualifications Required:
At least four years of experience in an operational support position. - Preferably have experience in IB Equity Operations, particularly in Trade Support functions. - Experience working within algorithmic trading is highly beneficial. - Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Excel, and the ability to quickly learn multiple programs. - High level of product knowledge in Equities. - Strong knowledge of middle office and back office systems. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively. - Innovative mindset to identify process gaps and seek improvements. - Strong work ethics and a risk/control mindset. - Effective communication skills within the team and Front Office. - Ability to collaborate and work well with others for issue resolution. - Behavioral skills including decision-making, critical thinking, and knowledge sharing.
