Brokerage Specialist AO

As an experienced Operations professional at the Authorised Officer (AO) level in Hyderabad for UBS Network Management in Group Operations, your role involves driving the business forward and ensuring smooth operations in the OTC brokerage business. You will be responsible for various key responsibilities, including:

• Acting as the first point of escalation for critical RTB issues related to OTC brokerage business and leading a team of 2 to 4 members
• Ensuring robust and efficient OTC Brokerage processes by utilizing Industry networks and UBS tools effectively
• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance delivery and meet agreed performance targets
• Improving communication between UBS and offshore teams
• Serving as the subject matter expert on Brokerage Settlement within UBS Group Operations
• Developing and grooming team members to enhance their understanding of the product area
• Participating in strategic projects by gathering business requirements, conducting UAT testing, and raising issue logs with concerned automation teams
• Leading meetings with various counterparties to resolve issues with brokerage outstanding invoices
• Identifying and resolving OTC Brokerage commission breaks in a timely manner with Middle office teams or clients
• Reviewing and publishing timely MIS to business stakeholders
• Ensuring timely review and sign-off of process SOPs and critical process documents with a supervisor
