Crisis Clinical Supervisor – Mobile Outreach Program Location: Portland, ME | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Make an Impact When It Matters Most The Opportunity Alliance is looking for a compassionate, skilled, and collaborative Crisis Clinical Supervisor to help lead our Mobile Outreach team—providing critical, on-the-spot support to individuals in crisis across Cumberland County. This is more than a supervisory role—it's a chance to shape high-quality, responsive mental health care in the community while supporting a dedicated, multidisciplinary team. What You'll Do As the Crisis Clinical Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role, balancing clinical expertise, team support, and program coordination. You'll guide and mentor staff while helping ensure individuals in crisis receive timely, effective, and recovery-oriented care. Key responsibilities include: Providing clinical supervision and leadership to Mobile Crisis Workers and call specialists Supporting real-time triage, consultation, and clinical decision-making Coaching staff through complex cases, assessment, and intervention strategies Ensuring high-quality documentation, data reporting, and program oversight Leading training and staff development, from onboarding to ongoing skill-building Partnering with internal teams and community providers to ensure strong collaboration and responsiveness Promoting a culture of communication, learning, and continuous improvement Why This Role Stands Out Meaningful Work: Directly impact individuals and families during critical moments Supportive Leadership Role: Work closely with program leadership while shaping team culture Dynamic Environment: Combine field-based work, office collaboration, and some remote flexibility Growth-Oriented: Help build and strengthen a growing mobile crisis program Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, 40 hours/week Schedule determined by program needs (at least one weekend day, occasional evenings) Primarily in-person (office and community-based work), with potential for some remote tasks Occasional travel within Cumberland County as needed What We're Looking For We're seeking a clinician who is both experienced in crisis care and passionate about supporting teams. Required: Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field Conditional or full clinical licensure required Strong clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and decision-making skills Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Interest or experience in people management Preferred: Supervisory or leadership experience Experience in crisis services or mobile outreach Familiarity with DSM criteria and multidisciplinary collaboration Additional Requirements Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends Comfortable responding to high-acuity situations and critical incidents Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems Valid driver's license for occasional local travel Ability to pass required background checks Who You Are You're someone who: Thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments Enjoys mentoring and supporting others Brings both clinical expertise and human connection to your work Is motivated by making a real difference in people's lives Join Us At The Opportunity Alliance, you'll be part of a team that values compassion, collaboration, and community impact.
