As a Manager Commercial Excellence and Sales Force Effectiveness at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will play a crucial role in enhancing commercial excellence across the organization by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for the sales teams. Your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Field Applications teams to create effective learning experiences that enhance technical knowledge and sales capabilities. - Utilizing your expertise in adult learning principles and training methodologies to foster a culture of continuous learning and development, directly impacting business growth and customer success. - Driving continuous improvement in sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Implementing best practices and training programs to ensure compliance and adoption across the sales organization. - Measuring and reporting training effectiveness and ROI, while excelling in presentation facilitation and communication skills. - Establishing relationships and working cross-functionally to address training gaps and drive adoption of processes and tools across diverse teams. Qualifications required for this role include:
Masters Degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience in training, sales enablement, or learning development, preferably in life sciences or biotechnology. - Professional certifications in instructional design or training methodologies, with training-specific certifications being advantageous. - Experience in developing and delivering technical and sales training programs, proficiency in adult learning principles, and instructional design. - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning development tools, as well as sales tools such as Salesforce and Power BI. - Strong analytical and project management capabilities, along with the ability to align training initiatives with business goals. - Excellent problem-solving skills, influencing abilities, change management skills, collaboration, strategic thinking, adaptability, and attention to detail. Additionally, the role may require up to 30% travel for training delivery at meetings, and bilingual capabilities are valued. Experience in bioproduction scientific sales or laboratory markets is preferred.
