As the Vendor & Procurement Manager at Veremark, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end lifecycle of third-party data provider relationships across all markets. Develop and maintain Veremark's global vendor strategy for all markets and check types. - Lead vendor analysis and selection processes, including market scanning, capability assessment, and due diligence. - Create and maintain a vendor landscape map, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for consolidation or diversification. - Evaluate build-vs-buy decisions for new data sources in collaboration with Product and Technology teams. - **Commercial Negotiation & Cost Management**
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, volume commitments, and contractual terms with data providers. - Drive cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and turnaround times. - Manage the vendor cost base and identify opportunities for cost optimization. - Benchmark vendor pricing against market alternatives regularly. - **Compliance, Governance & Risk Management**
Ensure vendors meet compliance standards including data protection and information security. - Develop and maintain vendor governance frameworks and risk registers. - Manage vendor audits and ensure compliance with data residency requirements in regulated markets. - Work with Legal teams to include appropriate clauses in vendor contracts. - **Performance Management & SLA Monitoring**
Define and implement a vendor performance management framework with clear KPIs. - Establish and monitor SLAs for vendors and hold them accountable through regular reviews. - Build reporting dashboards for visibility into vendor performance trends. - Manage escalations and drive corrective action plans for vendors. - **Relationship Management & Operational Coordination**
Act as Veremark's primary contact for vendor relationships. - Coordinate with Operations and Technology teams for smooth vendor interactions. - Support M&A activities by assessing vendor ecosystems and planning integrations. - Stay updated on market developments and emerging providers. **Qualifications Required:**
