As a Principal Information Security Engineer at Amadeus, you will be part of the AirOps TISO team responsible for leading the security strategy and execution within a small security organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
Driving the security in the cloud journey for the teams, whether it is Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Coordinating compliance with corporate security standards, cloud HLDs, PCI, ISO, NIS2, etc. - Leading the community of WhiteHats and Security managers to achieve goals in terms of SDL metrics and security KPIs. - Proactively driving security improvements within the AirOps teams and participating in the SAFE trains. In addition to security governance, you will play a crucial role in guiding the teams by:
Assisting in making educated security architecture choices. - Conducting security assessments of applications and tools, and proposing appropriate solutions based on risk-based approaches. - Being an ambassador of corporate security policies and standards, contributing to maintaining the risk map and risk treatment plan. - Collaborating closely with the BISO team. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Possess at least 5+ years of experience in application security, cloud security, security standards, SDL, etc. - Hold certifications in cloud technologies and/or security (an added advantage). - Be enthusiastic about working on challenging cloud security aspects and willing to think outside the box. - Demonstrate the ability to promote security awareness and effectively explain, motivate, and convince others.
