As a Product Manager AI at our company, you will be responsible for leading AI-led initiatives across various domains such as risk assessment, intelligence, user experience, operations, and internal tooling. The AI products you work on will be core systems, not just feature add-ons. Your role will involve collaborating closely with founders, AI engineers, backend teams, and design to create impactful AI products. **Key Responsibilities:**
Build and scale the Risk Engine for risk assessment, scoring, and compliance decisions
Implement AI-driven data analytics for policies, claims, user behavior, and operations
Convert unstructured insurance documents into usable data
Develop systems to simplify insurance policies for users
Automatically detect coverage gaps, risks, exclusions, and anomalies
Implement voice intelligence solutions like voice bots, call analysis, sentiment detection, and agent assist
Utilize AI for coding and internal tools to expedite product development
Design AI-first product experiences in collaboration with design and engineering teams
Apply GenAI, ML, and rule-based systems throughout the product lifecycle
Ensure accuracy, explainability, evaluation metrics, and guardrails for AI features
**Qualifications Required:**
Strong product management fundamentals with end-to-end ownership mindset
Hands-on experience in shipping AI or GenAI features into production
Ability to define AI use cases, constraints, and success metrics clearly
Comfort working closely with AI engineers and data teams
Clear communication skills and structured thinking
In addition, you should have 4 to 5 years of Product Management experience, with a minimum of 12 to 18 months of hands-on AI product work. Understanding the differences between LLMs, ML models, and rule-based systems, along with knowledge of prompt design, hallucination risks, and AI limitations, will be beneficial. Experience in building decision engines, risk systems, or intelligence layers, along with prior work in consumer tech, fintech, or regulated domains, will make you stand out. Please note that we are not looking for candidates who have only used ChatGPT for writing PRDs, believe AI equals OpenAI API integration, avoid data, logic, or system design discussions, or wait for engineers to define solutions. If you have only managed AI vendors without understanding internals, this role may not be suitable for you.
