Lead and support a team of engineers building margin and lending systems, including setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting career growth
Define and execute technical plans that improve system reliability, latency, and scalability for margin-related services
Partner with product, risk, legal, and data teams to deliver features that meet regulatory requirements and improve customer experience
Establish clear engineering processes, including code reviews, incident response practices, and system monitoring standards
Use metrics such as system uptime, latency, and error rates to guide prioritization and track improvements
What you bring
You have experience managing and developing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management
You have strong technical expertise in distributed systems, backend services, or financial systems
You have experience building or supporting systems that require high reliability, data accuracy, and regulatory awareness
You are comfortable using data and metrics to inform decisions and improve system performance
You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical partners and align teams around shared goals

The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. $230,000—$270,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$203,000—$238,000 USD

$180,000—$211,000 USD
