As a Snowflake Data Architect at 3Pillar, you will be at the heart of the organization, supporting clients in taking control of their data and deriving value from it by defining a reference architecture. Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing existing data components and performing Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Consulting with stakeholders and leading the migration to Snowflake
Proposing, advocating, and implementing end-to-end solutions for data-specific business problems
Designing large data platforms for Data Engineers, Analysts & Scientists
Defining tools & technologies for automated data pipelines, ETL processes, dashboards, reports, and insights
Ensuring alignment with architecture goals, best practices, and business needs
Database modeling, data storage decisions, data flow diagrams, and related documentation
Ensuring performance, reliability, scalability, security, privacy, and data governance in data architecture design
Applying best practices in architecture, coding, API integration, and CI/CD pipelines
Coordinating with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders for data-related needs
Mentoring junior Practice members, leading initiatives, and offerings in Data Practice
Representing the Practice / Organization on internal / external platforms with thought leadership
Qualifications required for this role:
Translate business requirements into data requests, reports, and dashboards
Strong Database & modeling concepts with exposure to SQL & NoSQL Databases
Expertise in data architecture patterns & principles, designing secure & scalable data solutions
Designing and writing ETL processes
Strong experience with Snowflake and its components
Knowledge of Master Data management, data security, and privacy regulations
Experience with AWS services such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, DynamoDB, and more
Implementing data validation processes and establishing data quality standards
Proficiency in Linux, scripting, and data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
Experience working with data ingestion tools and exposure to AI / ML technologies
Additional desired experience includes working with data ingestion tools like Fivetran, stitch, or Matillion, AWS IOT solutions, Apache NiFi, Talend, Informatica, GCP Data services, and exposure to AI / ML technologies.
