We are currently seeking an AI & Automation Specialist to support our team, enhancing the operational efficiency and profitability of the company. This role is for a tech-savvy professional who is skilled in creating, maintaining, and optimizing automated systems and integrations, and who is equally comfortable building internal policy as they are building workflows. The ideal candidate brings a strong programming background, hands-on experience with automation and AI tools, and the discipline to drive projects to completion with speed and accountability. We invite candidates located in Ottawa to apply. This is a hybrid role, and the candidate is required to work from our Ottawa office three days per week. Primary Responsibilities
Skills Required:
Proven experience in automation, system integrations, and programming (Python, JavaScript). - Demonstrated ability to ship projects on time: milestone planning, stakeholder communication, and follow-through are essential. - Strong understanding of APIs and web services. - Comfort with self-direction — this is a new role with no existing playbook; resourcefulness and the ability to work independently are critical
Experience with agentic/workflow AI tools (e.g., N8N, Make, Zapier) and working knowledge of LLM platforms and prompt engineering. - Familiarity with data privacy principles and responsible AI practices; experience developing or contributing to internal AI governance policies is an asset. - Experience deploying automation solutions specific to marketing use cases
Experience with key seoplus+ platforms (Salesforce, Wrike, Slack etc.) is preferred
