ESG Analyst

As an ESG Analyst, you'll support the delivery of research and engagement that informs investment decisions and contributes to the performance and positioning of Perpetual Group's sustainable and impact funds, including Regnan-branded strategies. You'll play a hands-on role analysing ESG risks and opportunities, while working closely with investment teams across the Group. Your Responsibilities Conduct research to support business activity screening, including assessing issuer involvement in controversial activities Apply Regnan's proprietary frameworks to analyse ESG, sustainability and impact factors across equities and fixed income Support and contribute to Regnan's thematic research and engagement program Work collaboratively with investment boutiques to support their ESG and impact investing priorities Help embed ESG insights into investment decision-making and portfolio positioning Act as an AI champion for the team, supporting the adoption and integration of AI tools to enhance research and workflows About you We're looking for someone with: Degree in a business-related discipline (postgraduate studies in sustainability, environment or social policy highly regarded) Graduate or early career experience in ESG, sustainability or responsible investment Strong research and analytical capability, with attention to detail Advanced Excel skills and practical application of AI tools Strong organisation and information management skills Interest in financial markets; exposure to investments is advantageous Experience with Python, SQL or data visualisation tools such as PowerBI is highly regarded How we work Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours, Stretch, Own it, Make an impact which drive our approach of day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients, the way we approach decision-making to the questions we ask and the problems we solve.
