As a Regulatory and Business Controls Client Services and Transfer Agency Specialist at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, your role will involve supporting activities related to the JPMorgan Funds client services and transfer agency operations. You will be responsible for managing control programs focused on regulatory and operational requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. Your specific responsibilities will include:
Managing the development and oversight of various JPMorgan Funds control programs such as blue sky, intermediary oversight, and prospectus adherence
Acting as the operational liaison between J.P. Morgan Asset Management, intermediaries, and third-party service providers
Assisting service providers in identifying and applying exemptions as necessary
Supporting vendor oversight to ensure the completeness and accuracy of services provided by third-party providers
Participating in activities and research with industry forums related to JPMorgan Funds client services and transfer agency regulations
Collaborating with external financial intermediaries on matters concerning the JPMorgan Funds control programs and associated policies and procedures
Assisting management with governance forums and reporting (internal and external) related to regulatory and business control activities
Supporting other regulatory and business control functions as required
Qualifications for this role include:
Knowledge of the mutual fund industry and previous work experience in mutual fund operations and controls is preferred
Bachelor's degree in a business/finance/accounting discipline is preferred
