As an Associate Manager of Project Support Services, your primary focus will be on people and performance management of team members, with a secondary focus on operational management. You will act as the point of escalation regarding performance concerns and training needs to ensure adherence to the company's SOPs and policies. Your role will involve serving as a positive leadership and professional role model for all staff, providing direct coaching and development support to your operational teams. Additionally, you may support management and executive staff in various global clinical development departments on various tasks, workstreams, or initiatives. Collaborating with the resourcing team, other PSS people managers, and study managers will be essential to meet resourcing needs and critical study deliverables/milestones, utilizing negotiation skills when necessary. You will be responsible for approving courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Furthermore, you will review and approve time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime. Any other duties and projects will be assigned by leadership. - Directly supervise individual contributors, administrative support, and/or entry-level professionals
