Strategic background of the position For our growing Contract Logistics team, we are looking for a Warehouse Manager to strengthen our Freezone Warehouse Operations. What you will do: Oversee end-to-end freezone warehouse operations: Plan, organize, and control inbound, storage, and outbound processes to ensure optimal efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Lead and develop the warehouse team: Supervise daily activities, assign tasks, mentor staff, and foster a high-performance culture with regular coaching and performance reviews. Ensure full compliance with legal and safety regulations: Oversee warehouse activities to ensure compliance with HSE, customs, freezone laws, and quarantine regulations, while upholding Chain of Responsibility by ensuring safe load management, accurate documentation, and legal compliance throughout the logistics process. Manage warehouse systems and inventory accuracy: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory tools to reconcile stock, reduce discrepancies, maintain real-time inventory visibility, and other system related (TASCO). Monitor financial performance: Track budgets and P&L monthly, manage operating costs, and implement corrective actions to ensure strong financial performance. Support customer onboarding and business growth: Collaborate with Sales, Implementation, and Operations teams to launch new customers or projects smoothly, without impacting existing operations. Maintain safety standards and equipment readiness: Oversee equipment maintenance, enforce forklift safety, and ensure compliance with SOPs and workplace safety protocols. Build strong relationships with customers and service partners: Act as the key contact for customer accounts, proactively address feedback, and ensure high levels of service with transport and logistics partners. Drive continuous improvement and process optimization: Identify operational inefficiencies, lead improvement initiatives, and enhance productivity across warehouse operations. What you bring: Proven experience in freezone warehouse, logistics, or supply chain management. Strong leadership abilities with 3–5 years of experience in a managerial role, including team development and performance management. Solid knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory control, and operational best practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with confidence in presenting and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of strong problem-solving and decision-making. A proactive, hands-on mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
