As an SEO & Content Growth Specialist (Consultant), your main role will be to strengthen the current SEO execution and gradually develop a more structured, growth-oriented approach to search and content across client accounts. The role will require you to focus on strong fundamentals of SEO and content while contributing to better planning, performance improvement, and future-ready practices. This position is ideal for someone looking to transition from execution to strategic thinking while collaborating closely with an agency team. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research and mapping
Optimize website pages including meta tags, content, and internal linking
Ensure SEO best practices are implemented across client websites
Create clear content briefs for SEO-driven pages
Assist in developing content plans based on search opportunities
Guide the development of blog topics, landing pages, and basic content clusters
Ensure content aligns with search intent and brand voice
Perform audits for crawlability, indexing issues, and broken links
Monitor basic Core Web Vitals
Coordinate with developers for fixes
Have a basic understanding of site structure and schema (preferred)
Track and monitor organic traffic, keyword rankings, and basic lead/conversion indicators
Prepare monthly reports with insights and action points
Utilize tools like GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools effectively
Support backlink efforts through directory submissions, basic outreach, and listings
Track backlink profile and domain strength
Stay updated on AI-driven search trends, voice and video SEO
Begin experimenting with new opportunities where relevant
Work closely with internal teams for execution
Support in explaining SEO performance to clients when required
Ensure timely delivery of tasks and outputs
Skills & Requirements:
35 years of experience in SEO (agency experience preferred)
Strong understanding of on-page SEO and content alignment
Basic knowledge of technical SEO
Familiarity with tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog
Ability to derive actionable insights from data
Strong communication and coordination skills
Willingness to learn, experiment, and grow

Organic Traffic Growth: Improvement in organic traffic across client websites
Keyword Performance: Increase in keywords ranking in Top 10 / Top 20
Website Health: Reduction in technical issues and errors
Content Performance: Improvement in traffic and rankings for SEO-led content
Reporting & Delivery: Timely submission of reports and quality of insights and recommendations
