Job Summary The OPS Non-Student ITS Event Support Associate helps deliver and support technology used in campus events, classes, and meetings. Job Description Typical duties include but not limited to: Delivers, installs, troubleshoots, and operates audio visual systems, streaming platforms, and computers used in classes, meetings, conferences, and other special events. Ensures correct operation of audio-visual equipment, assists users with operational issues, and provide excellent customer service. Learns to use basic software tools to enhance audio and video sources. Assists in processing customer requests. Assists in tracking tickets in work order system. Other duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learning environment. Possess the knowledge of general written standards and procedures utilized, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manual related to the job tasks. Demonstrate the ability to respond to supervision, guidance, and direction in a positive, receptive manner and in accordance with stated policies. Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Present a professional image in word, action, and attire. Apply effective techniques to create working relationships with others to achieve common goals; successfully communicates and collaborates with others to achieve goals. Demonstrate skills necessary to look at situations and processes critically to make recommendations for improvement.
