You will be a DevOps Engineer in our global infrastructure group, playing a key role in building and supporting products across our Life Sciences portfolio. Your focus will be on improving developer experience and enabling product teams to deliver quality software efficiently. **Key Responsibilities:**
Work within the DevOps squad to ensure reliability, scalability, performance, and security of our platform and products
Identify improvements to common tasks and self-service modules for faster SDLC movement
Design, build, and maintain cost-effective cloud environments
Collaborate with central platform teams for product on-boarding
Implement efficiencies to reduce toil and focus on project work
Act as a senior escalation point for support during production issues
**Qualifications Required:**
Experience in global cross-functional teams solving problems at scale
Proficiency in DevOps and SRE best practices
Advanced skills in AWS, Linux, Puppet, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and GitHub
Design experience in highly available and secure distributed systems using AWS, Linux, and Kubernetes
Knowledge of standardizing and improving deployment processes with common platforms and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of tools like New Relic or Grafana for product performance observation
Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation for platform and customer support
Enjoyment in creating efficiency through automation and 'Infrastructure as Code' using modern languages like Python or Go
