As an Information Technology Project Manager at U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP), your role will involve planning, establishing, and managing IT projects while serving as a liaison between business and technical aspects. You will be responsible for administering network and server infrastructure projects, executing technology projects, managing project management processes, implementing technology security, and overseeing technology-related tasks and initiatives. Additionally, you will establish and manage service delivery framework across functions, including delivery governance and vendor performance management. Key Responsibilities:
Initiate, plan, execute, and control assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and project scope. - Develop and maintain proposals for projects, including objectives, technologies, timelines, funding, and staffing. - Implement project management principles and best practices, facilitating a structured approach to managing IT projects. - Coordinate with stakeholders across business functions, IT teams, external vendors, and third parties. - Identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively. - Drive consensus among stakeholders and project teams, setting and tracking project milestones. - Establish and implement project communication plans, providing status updates to stakeholders. - Collect and analyze information to prepare project status reports, conduct project learnings sessions, and document takeaways. - Develop metrics-oriented service delivery framework and performance measures for project management tasks. - Analyze business requirements, develop workflows aligned with business objectives, and work on continuous improvement projects. - Engage, coordinate, and manage vendors, keeping USP's interests at the forefront. Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's/master's degree. - PMP certification is a plus. - 10-15 years of cumulative IT experience. - 7-8 years of relevant experience in independently managing small and medium IT projects. - Background in Automations will be an advantage. Benefits:
