At realtor.com®, the Search Results Page (SRP) is our most critical engine—it’s where millions of users make life-changing decisions. We are looking for a Staff Engineer to serve as a technical anchor for our Search Experience team, driving the architectural evolution of our highest-traffic consumer surfaces. ## The Role
As a Staff Engineer, you won't just write code; you will define the technical standards for how we deliver search results at scale. You will balance hands-on development with high-level system design, ensuring our frontend and backend systems are resilient, performant, and SEO-dominant. - Architectural Leadership: Own the end-to-end architecture of our frontend and microservices. - Drive initiatives to optimize Core Web Vitals and SSR strategies. In a high-velocity environment, you ensure our SERP remains the fastest in the industry. - Lead the integration of AI coding assistants and LLMs into the SDLC. You are responsible for the "human-in-the-loop" verification of AI-generated code regarding security, performance, and long-term maintainability. - Partner with Product, Data Science, and Design to operationalize machine learning models and predictive analytics into the user experience. ##
