The Role We are seeking an Investment Product Strategy professional to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team within a leading asset manager. This role sits at the intersection of product design and delivery, offering the opportunity to both shape new investment products and play an active role in bringing them to market. You will contribute to the research and insight that underpins new product approvals while also supporting (and potentially leading) the implementation of new and evolving investment solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with execution, and who is looking to grow their impact across the product lifecycle. In this role you will Product Research & Development Support and/or lead product initiatives from concept and approval through to launch and implementation Partner across product investment and operational teams to ensure seamless execution of product ideas Translate analysis into clear, actionable insights to inform product development and strategic decisions Build and communicate recommendations through high-quality materials for stakeholders and governance forums Create and manage project plans, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely, high-quality delivery Anticipate risks and challenges, developing practical solutions to support successful outcomes Go-to-Market & Collaboration Collaborate with Product Specialists, Marketing, and Sales to shape go-to-market strategies and product positioning Contribute to client-facing materials, training, and internal communications to support successful launches Build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively across global teams Continuous Improvement & Development Identify opportunities to enhance processes and contribute to ongoing product innovation and planning Develop your expertise in asset management through hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of products Take part in special projects that broaden your experience and impact What it takes Experience in asset management, investments, banking, consulting, or a related financial services role Demonstrated interest in investment products and markets, with a desire to continue learning and developing Experience supporting or leading projects, with strong organisational and planning skills Strong analytical capability, with the ability to synthesise information and communicate clearly Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence engaging at different levels of seniority Collaborative working style, with the ability to build relationships across teams CFA qualification (completed, in progress, or of interest) is advantageous but not essential Special Factors Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position This is a hybrid position and would require you to work in the office 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) This role encompasses activities that fall within the remit of UK Financial Conduct Authority ('FCA') regulation. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to UK regulatory requirements in relation to conduct rules, regulatory references and the assessment of fitness and propriety, knowledge, experience and competence.
