LA28 is the independent, non-profit, privately funded organizing committee for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Support senior members of legal department on identified business transactions and legal matters, including venue use agreements, architecture, engineering, design and construction agreements, venue city agreements and agreements with governmental and other delivery partners. - Steady stream of self-directed analytical work, meetings, and decision-making, including preparing, reviewing and negotiating a variety of legal documents including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, memorandums of understanding, term sheets, master services agreements, statements of work, waivers, consents, real estate documents (e.g., lease documents), and legal memoranda or other correspondence and strategic projects. - Work closely with individual departments to anticipate, identify and manage legal exposure and risk management. - Review and understand all relevant corporate/stakeholder documents (including Host City Contract, Olympic Charter, Code of Ethics, etc.). - Work with outside counsel on matters requiring representation. - Ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state and local laws and regulations. - Keep current on industry-wide legal trends and developments. ### Background & Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience in transactional matters required. - Prior law firm and/or in-house experience. - Experience in construction, architecture and engineering, sports, real estate, live-events, or public law (e.g., public contracting, lobbying, or gifting) is a plus. ### Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to work on-site in an open office environment, based in Los Angeles, CA
Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods. - Sitting/Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while working at a desk or computer. - Manual Dexterity: Proficiency in typing and using office equipment, including computers, printers, and phones. ### Submission Requirements:
