In this role, you will provide risk and commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle to assess performance and support the associated business unit, project, market sector, and/or business development leadership. You will work closely with the Bid Manager, Business Unit Lead, Finance, and Legal support to lead the coordination and preparation of Risk committee submissions for bids. Additionally, you will collaborate with the finance function to ensure effective reporting and forecasting of the commercial performance within the business unit. It is essential to manage changes rigorously considering the commercial implications, handle commercial risks and opportunities, and ensure activities align with internal company standards and external regulatory requirements. You will also attend progress meetings and change control meetings with clients, identify and assess changes with AECOM project leads, and assist in managing internal reporting processes. Qualifications Required:
Previous experience in commercial management for various project values
Good understanding of risk management procedures and processes
Demonstrate commercial acumen and strong business analysis skills
Experience in negotiating fee claims and administering contracts
Basic knowledge of Indian commercial law and contract law specific to the built environment
Interpersonal skills, relationship building, and collaborative communication across all levels
Degree in Project Management, Cost Management, or Engineering discipline preferred
Postgraduate business qualifications advantageous
Qualification in accountancy, surveying, or law beneficial This role requires someone with a background in commercial management, risk assessment, and strong negotiation skills. Additionally, having knowledge of Indian commercial law and contract law specific to the built environment will be advantageous. A degree in Project Management, Cost Management, or Engineering discipline is preferred, with postgraduate business qualifications considered beneficial. A qualification in accountancy, surveying, or law would also be advantageous for this position.
