Role Overview
We need an exceptionally talented Sourcer Recruiter to help us find the best talent in the US market to support our growth. Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names in the world and we distribute millions of products each year to our loyal customers. The Recruiter will work with a team of recruiting professionals focusing on finding the best distribution and operations professionals across the country, fostering a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality-driven service to internal customers. Key Requirements
The candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done. The best candidates will have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation in a high volume environment and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. They will need to demonstrate an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. Core Responsibilities
Recruit passive candidates with the mentality to "profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation" rather than sell a role Build and maintain network of potential candidates through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management Conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company Implement new processes and fine-tune standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process
Sourcing and Candidate Engagement
Proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites Conduct candidate outreach and engagement to build interest and assess right fit
Filter the right candidates during recruiter phone screen
Screening and Evaluation
Conduct on-phone and virtual candidate screening process to assess qualification and skill alignment Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub and other sourcing tools
Must-Have Skills
Boolean and Advanced Search
Create targeted Boolean strings to identify candidates with niche technical skills across LinkedIn, X-ray search/Open web, GitHub, trade forums and specialized job boards
Candidate Engagement for Passive Talent
Skilled at requirement gathering, sourcing and screening candidates in specialized technical fields
Articulate role-based value proposition to the candidate
Build strategies and brainstorm to create efficient and creative sourcing solutions for stakeholders
Good to Have:
Market Intelligence: Understand the talent market to source the right talent from targeted organizations Experience in any 1 or 2 Tech hiring domain will be an added advantage
Experience of hiring Full stack, Back-end and Front-end engineers,
Data Analytics including Data Scientist (AI/ML) and Engineers,
Understanding of any 2-3 Programming languages or key tech stacks like Python, Java, SQL, ETL, data pipelines, Hadoop, Spark, Big Data, or similar technical landscape. Key job responsibilities
Proven ability and sharp on the feet to proactively source passive candidates using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X-ray search/ Open web and other sourcing channels for remote sites. 2.
