What your role includes? For successful applicants, we will work together to develop a tailored on-boarding plan, highlighting your experience and focusing on development in other areas of the role. This may include, product training, assigning a buddy or coach, research of the identity market and partner integrations, shadowing other members of the SE team, and practicing messaging and demonstrations. Once you are ready, you'll work with our team of account executives to develop and progress sales opportunities. When aligned, you'll be responsible for the opportunity from a technical perspective, focusing on a consultative approach. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Account Executives to support sales opportunities. • Engage with customer stakeholders to discover and refine identity and security challenges. • Deliver compelling technical demonstrations of SailPoint solutions. • Design solution approaches aligned to customer environments. • Support proof-of-value engagements and technical evaluations. • Translate technical capabilities into meaningful business outcomes. • Collaborate with partners and internal teams across sales, product, and engineering. You'll also have time to develop your skills, and attend internal training sessions, along with supporting the wider SE team with any questions or advice. You have a strong understanding or experience in Identity and key identity principles. You have an understanding or experience with IaaS environments (Azure, AWS, GCP). You have an understanding or experience with AI-driven solutions. Your written and communication skills are excellent. Path to Success: Every new Advisory Solution Consultant receives a tailored on-boarding plan aligned to their skills and experience. As a typical path to success: During months 1~4, you will: • Learn the Identity Security and Identity Management space • Participate in enablement on demo best practices, presentation skills, and negotiation. • Be in a position to handle initial demos and discussions on the SailPoint platform. • Attend Revenue Onboarding for a deep dive into SailPoint sales methodology. • Hone technical discovery skills during reviews with your peers. • Navigate internal relationships with Customer Success Managers, Product Management, Professional Services, and Partners. • Coordinate with AEs before and after client calls, tying what is presented back to business value. Within 6 months to 1 year, you will: Contribute to building new technical collateral for organization-wide use Grow familiarity with IT audit functions, regulatory frameworks, SOX, HIPAA, NERC-CIP, GDPR, and CCPA Speak at national or regional conferences and meet ups Proactively network and build your own personal brand Articulate the business value of SailPoint as a strategic sale Communicate at the business level with clients outside of IT, such as HR, Finance, risk management, counsel, lines of business Be fluent in the language of Identity Security SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome all qualified candidates to apply to join our team.
