As a Staff SoC RTL Design Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor, you will be an integral part of the HW design team focusing on IP design and full chip integration. Your role will involve working on FPGA projects in Pune and similar time zones, utilizing your expertise in RTL design, Verilog, System Verilog, SoC integration, and associated quality checks. You will collaborate closely with the architect and micro-architect team to define design specifications and teach best-known methods while being open to learning from the team about the complexities of highly programmable FPGA fabrics. Key Responsibilities:
Drive logic design of key FPGA blocks and full chip to accelerate design time and improve design quality. - Ensure design quality through assertions, checkers, and scripting. - Develop strong relationships with global teams and mentor colleagues. - Occasionally travel as required to support project needs. Qualifications Required:
BS/MS/PhD in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. - 8+ years of experience in driving logic design across various silicon projects. - Expertise in SoC integration, defining micro-architecture, and selecting 3rd party IP. - Experience with ARM processor, AXI, AMBA bus, ENET, PCIE, safety and security protocols, and debug architecture is a plus. - Familiarity with FPGA designs, use-cases, and design considerations. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead, and solve problems effectively. - Proven track record of collaborating with diverse groups across different sites and time zones.
