As a Vendor Compliance Specialist at Rocket Software, your role will involve being a part of the Vendor Master Set up team. You will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring compliance in onboarding new vendors and renewals of existing vendors in collaboration with the legal and Infosec teams at Rocket. Additionally, you will need to provide training to Rocket employees on vendor set up and renewals awareness and offer necessary audit support. **Key Responsibilities:**
Promptly review and process new vendor setup and renewal requests from business users, understanding the services to be provided. - Validate responses from the business regarding new vendors or renewal requests. - Coordinate with the business for necessary documentation before seeking approval. - Support requesters in navigating the NVOR, Renewal, and Purchasing processes. - Ensure adherence to vendor payment terms as per Rocket's standards. - Facilitate approval for vendor payment term exceptions if needed. - Monitor open requests, following up with users for missing documentation. - Collaborate with AP manager and AP/Finance Team to guide and ensure timely vendor setup in Oracle. - Forward closed vendor documentation to the legal team monthly. - Update and maintain process documentation (SOPs, etc.) on Rocket Intranet. - Perform assigned monthly control tasks. - Train requesters on the new vendor or renewal request process. - Automate and streamline processes based on requirements and modifications. **Qualifications Required:**
7-8 years of experience in Vendor Master Management in a global setting preferred. - Strong verbal and written communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. - Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing requirements. - Basic understanding of Contracts, SOW, and legal terms. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Effective interpersonal skills. - Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently. - Capability to build cross-functional relationships. - Experience in reporting using Excel.
